A second half comeback attempt fell short as the Boston College Eagles lost to the #15 Providence College Friars 66-51 last night at the Dunkin' Donuts Center. BC overcame a slow start to close to within 4, fueled by Eli Carter's 15 points, but they ultimately just couldn't keep pace with an excellent PC team.

The Eagles can take some positives from the second half, but the positives won't mean much if they can't snap their 5-game skid on Sunday at home against Maine. Tip-off is at 5 PM at Conte Forum.
