NHL

Noah Hanifin scored his first NHL goal (and only Hurricanes goal of the game) in Carolina's loss to Anaheim.

Brian Boyle recorded 5 hits in Tampa's 1-0 loss to Florida, but he struggled on the faceoff.

November 17

Cam Atkinson assisted on Columbus's GWG against St. Louis.

A great pass from Johnny Gaudreau helped to set up the first Calgary goal in their 3-2 win over the Devils. Stephen Gionta assisted on New Jersey's first goal. Cory Schneider made 27 saves on 30 shots in the NJ loss.

Patrick Eaves returned to the Dallas lineup following an injury. He saw just over 12 minutes of ice time.

November 18

AHL

Mike Matheson scored Portland's third goal in their 4-1 win over Syracuse.

Peter Harrold picked up an assist in Chicago's loss to Milwaukee.

ECHL

Steven Whitney assisted on Norfolk's first goal in their loss to Adirondack.

Barry Almeida scored in the shootout to help Utah defeat Rapid City (he did not score the winner).

Johnny Gaudreau assisted on Calgary's first goal against Chicago, and then went on to score the OT winner. His OT winner was a classic Johnny goal as he got his own rebound and snuck through all of Chicago's players to put the puck in the net. If you watch one goal from this post, make it this one.

Paul Carey scored Hershey's final goal in their 4-2 victory over Portland.

Tommy Cross scored the second goal in Providence's win over Springfield.

Brian Gibbons assisted on the third Hartford goal in their win over Lehigh Valley.

Peter Harrold picked up his second assist of the week in Chicago's 2-1 loss to Grand Rapids.

Barry Almeida scored the tying goal in Utah's 4-3 loss to Rapid City.

Nick Petrecki picked up 2 assists to help Elmira defeat Reading.

Parker Milner made 24 saves to help Missouri defeat Wichita by a score of 5-2.

November 22

NHL

Cam Atkinson scored Columbus's third goal in their 5-3 win over San Jose. Atkinson put himself in a good position and snuck the puck into the corner of the net.

Noah Hanifin assisted on Carolina's final goal in their defeat of the Kings. It was a goal that the LA defense would definitely like back, as it resulted from a sloppy attempt to clear the puck from in front of the net.

Cory Scheider made 36 saves to help New Jersey beat Vancouver by a score of 3-2.

Brian Gibbons assisted on a Hartford goal in their loss to Utica.

Tommy Cross assisted on Providence's first goal in their 5-2 loss to Lehigh Valley.

ECHL

Quinn Smith scored his first professional goal for Norfolk in their loss to Manchester. Steve Whitney scored the other Norfolk goal in their 4-2 loss.

NWHL

Kelli Stack scored a goal in Connecticut's 7-6 victory over Buffalo, while Emily Pfalzer assisted on all but one of Buffalo's six goals.

Meghan Fardelmann scored NY's GWG versus Boston.

Megan Shea scored Boston's lone goal in their 9-1 loss to Brampton.

Other Notes

Joe Whitney did not play this weekend because he was awaiting the birth of his first child (his wife is BC softball alumna Angela Pandolfo). Congrats go out to the couple on the birth of their daughter, Brooklyn!

Nathan Gerbe left Sunday's Hurricanes game with a lower body injury.

Nick Petrecki has surprisingly few penalties with Elmira so far - 2 penalties in 5 games.

Quinn Smith was released by Norfolk yesterday.
