It was an ugly second period for the Eagles, who came out stuck in the muck and gave up a pair of goals to allow BU to tie the game. While BU dominated possession in the frame, their first goal was aided by poor officiating. The refs missed a BC player getting tackled in the corner, so Dana Trivigno decided to dish out some frontier justice that left BC shorthanded. A phantom "high stick" call on a sell-job by BU's Tutino put BU on a 5-on-3 advantage, on which they converted.
BC looked out of sorts after allowing the BU goal and will need to find their heads and their game in the 3rd.
