Boston College Athletics announced Monday that the football matchup against Clemson on Oct. 17 will start at 7 p.m. The game will either be featured on ESPN 2 or ESPNU. The channel will be determined following games played on Oct. 10.
This game marks the second time this season the Eagles have been featured on the ESPN family of networks. The first game featured on ESPN was the Friday night matchup against Florida State on Sept. 18.
The Eagles last faced the Tigers of Clemson last season on Oct. 18 in Chestnut Hill, Mass. The Tigers narrowly escaped defeat at the hands of the Eagles, thwarting a late drive mounted by BC. The Tigers forced a turnover on downs after Tyler Murphy threw four straight incomplete passes at the Clemson 26 yard line.
Clemson was selected as the preseason favorite to win the ACC. The Tigers, currently standing at 4-0, will enter the game against Boston College following a home matchup against Georgia Tech.
