FINAL SCORE: BC dominates Colorado College 5-0
Well, that was enjoyable. BC didn't put up a fireworks display in Colorado Springs tonight, or drop any jaws with an awe inspiring beatdown... they just plain and simply demonstrated superiority over their opponent in every facet of the game. Offense, defense, goaltending, special teams, physicality, speed, finesse... you name it, BC did it well.
Adam Gilmour potted his second goal of the night for the third period's lone tally, sealing the 5-0 final. Colorado College appeared to score a consolation goal with just over three minutes to play but it was disallowed upon video review due to CC skating offsides before scoring the goal.
Thatcher Demko now has three consecutive shutouts. BC became the first team ever to shut out Colorado College in back to back games at home. With the win, the Eagles are now 4-1-0; CC falls to 0-6.
Grant will be back later tonight/early AM with the customary GIF recap and analysis. The Eagles return to the ice Friday night at home against Denver in what should be a tough early test for this team.
