The Boston College Eagles will take on the Virginia Tech Hokies at 12:30 P.M. on Sat. Oct. 31, BC Athletics announced Monday. The matchup will be televised on the ACC Network for the fourth time this year. The game will be the 24th all-time meeting between the two teams. The Hokies currently lead the all time series 15-8.
The game will come on the heels of another BC ACC Network matchup against the Louisville Cardinals on Sat., Oct. 24.
The Virginia Tech Hokies, like the Eagles, currently sit at 3-4. The Hokies, unlike the Eagles, boast a 1-2 in conference record, while BC is currently searching for its first in-conference win of the season.
The Hokies will bring in starting quarterback Michael Brewer. Brewer sat out the previous month after injuring his collarbone in the opening night matchup against Ohio State. The Hokies announced Monday that Brewer would be the starter for the matchup this upcoming Saturday against the Duke Blue Devils.
