Boston College football has filled out their schedule for next season, and according to reports the opponent will be the University of Connecticut Huskies:
Boston College, UConn schedule home/home series; 2016 at BC, 2017 at UC, source told @ESPN. Also 2 games in 2020s. 1st reported by @blauds

This much-rumored series will give the Eagles seven home games next year, with another being the Georgia Tech game in Ireland. The Eagles will have an out of conference schedule of Massachusetts, Buffalo, Connecticut and most likely an FCS school. This is certainly going to be a controversial opponent as many wanted a bigger opponent, while others may be happy to play a local foe while avoiding another season of two FCS opponents.
Connecticut has played the Eagles 10 times in their history, and have not won a matchup yet. BC last faced UConn in 2004, the Huskies first year in the Big East. Boston College won that matchup 27-7.
