With less than a minute remaining in the first BC vs. BU women's hockey game of the season, Boston University's Kayla Tutino sent Eagle Emily Pfalzer to the ice with a vicious boarding hit. Pfalzer was motionless on the ice for over five minutes after the hit. Tutino was given a 5 minute major and a game misconduct on the play, but Hockey East will certainly look at a potential suspension for this hit. This is exactly the kind of reckless play that needs to be taken out of hockey.
