What to watch when you're not watching Boston College vs. Colorado State this weekend.
The weekend starts off strong with three ranked teams in action on Thursday night. Texas Tech visits no. 24 Oklahoma State at 7:30 p.m. Eastern (ESPN), followed by a critical Pac-12 South showdown in the desert as no. 11 UCLA visits no. 15 Arizona State starting at 10:00 p.m. on Fox Sports 1.
Friday is a bit of a letdown, but there's still real, live college football for you addicts out there: Middle Tennessee @ Old Dominion at 8:00 p.m. on Fox Sports 1 and Fresno State @ New Mexico, also at 8 p.m. on ESPN2.
No matchups between ranked teams on Saturday, though I am interested to see how no. 1 Florida State and QB Jameis Winston bounce back this week at N.C. State (3:30 p.m. on ABC/ESPN2). I'm also paying attention to Wake Forest at Louisville (3:30 p.m. on ESPNU) and to see how Syracuse bounces back against no. 8 Notre Dame in the Meadowlands (8:00 p.m. on ABC).
If the Orange somehow find a way to win ... illuminati.
