Good morning, Happy Thursday, and happy "replacement 4th of July" to the city of Boston, where tomorrow night's concert/fireworks display was pre-emptively moved up a day due to weather concerns. So first America gets knocked out the World Cup, and then our birthday party gets ruined. I'm not a happy camper. Hopefully there's some good news out there about BC hockey to cheer me up.... d'oh!
Despite reports to contrary, fwd Miles Wood is not going to BC this fall. It could happen but as of now, not the plan. Maybe back to prep.

Over The Boards is a very reliable source so this is probably good information.
Lots of stuff flying around about Miles Wood. He wants to come here this fall. His dad, Randy, is set on him going back to Nobles.

So, make of that what you will.
In other 2014-2015 hockey news, UMass-Lowell announced their schedule. Importantly, we see that BC's season opener will be on Friday, October 10 at Lowell, in a rematch of the Northeast Regional final back in March. Since we will be present at UML's home opener, we'll get to see them raise the Hockey East championship banner, the NCAA tournament appearance banner, the NCAA Northeast Regional Runner-Up banner, the Hockey East regular season runner-up banner, and the Connor Hellebuyck retired jersey number (probably).
