Name: Connor Wujciak
Position: Defensive Tackle
Number: #90
Year: Senior
Height: 6-foot-3
Weight: 296 lbs.
Hometown: West Caldwell, NJ
High School: Seton Hall Prep
2013 Stats: Connor played in all 13 games last season for the Eagles playing mostly the backup at the right tackle position. He recorded 24 tackles (13 solo), and had one forced fumble against Wake Forest, and a pass break up against Villanova.
2014 Projections: With Dominic Appiah leaving the team and Jaryd Rudolph graduating, there will be two open spots for starting at defensive tackle. I would expect that Truman Gutapfel and Wujciak to get the starting nods. Connor has improved over the previous two seasons, and I would expect that maturation to continue going into his senior season.
How'd He Get Here: A 4* defensive end out of Seton Hall Prep, Wujciak was ranked the 243rd overall recruit in the 2011 class (see Spaz could get them at one point), and chose Boston College over claimed offers from Cincinnati, Maryland, Michigan St., Minnesota, Notre Dame, Pittsburgh and Rutgers.
Twitter Feed: You can follow Connor on Twitter at @LarryMusgrove.
Tweetable:
You know football because you watch a lot of football and know a lot of players? I'm pretty sure cheerleaders have those same credentials...

Uniform History: Only 7 people in the history of Boston College football have worn the number 90. The first was Ed Finn, a tight end for the Eagles in the 1970s. Tom Martin a defensive tackle from 2000-2003 wore the number as well, followed by one of BC's finest defensive tackles, B.J. Raji who wore it before heading to the NFL as a starting Pro Bowl caliber DT for the Green Bay Packers.
