ACC Kickoff 2014: Dominique Williams And Andy Gallik To Represent Boston College

College football is right around the corner.

Mark Konezny-USA TODAY Sports

Boston College center and Rimington watch list candidate Andy Gallik and cornerback Dominique Williams will be representing the Eagles at the ACC Media Day that will be held at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro NC on July 20th and 21st. They of course will be joined by Coach Steve Addazio, and members from the other 13 ACC teams.

In all, the ACC Kickoff student-athletes hail from 12 states with six from Florida, five from North Carolina, four from Georgia, two each from Illinois, Pennsylvania and Ohio and one apiece from Alabama, Massachusetts, Maryland, Kentucky, Tennessee and Virginia.

All 28 of the participants will be making their first appearance at the ACC Football Kickoff.

Among the offensive players in attendance will be three quarterbacks, four offensive linemen, three running backs, four wide receivers. Defensively, three defensive ends, one defensive tackle, four linebackers, five defensive backs and one bandit will be on hand.

Last season the Eagles were represented by quarterback Chase Rettig and linebacker Steele Divitto. In 2012 it was Emmett Cleary and Kaleb Ramsey. If history repeats itself you can count on Gallik to get drafted by the Green Bay Packers and Williams to go to the Jets. Mark that in your little books.

Just exciting that college football is right around the corner. It's almost here!
