Boston College Football Recruiting: ATH Mike Walker Commits To Eagles

Third commit in less than a week, this one coming from the Sunshine State

Boston College scored their third commit in less than a week as Naples ATH Mike Walker has committed to the Eagles:

Walker, a 5-11, 178 lbs defensive back, played both sides of the ball his junior year. But according to his Rivals page it looks like he will be playing DB for the Eagles. According to his HUDL page (which is set to private), he runs a 4.5 40.  Walker currently does not have a rating on any of the recruiting services, and holds offers from Arizona, Florida International, Arkansas St, Holy Cross and Georgia Southern. Naples is an interesting high school because it looks like they have three more solid 2016 recruits coming up, one of them a wide receiver already committed to Florida. Maybe this was a move looking at opening a pipeline with the high school for the future.

Walker is the thirteenth recruit in the 2015 class, and the second from the Sunshine State joining offensive guard Wyatt Knopfke. Welcome to the Heights Mike!
