Boston College Football: Get To Know The Dudes - #38, WR Griff Rogan

Get to know a dude...wide receiver Griff Rogan

Darren McCollester

Name: Griff Rogan

Position: Wide receiver

Number: #38

Year: Senior

Height: 6-foot-1

Weight: 186 lbs.

Hometown: Garden City, NY

High School: Chaminade

2013 Stats: Did not appear in any games, joined the team as a walk on prior to the spring game.

2014 Projections: Unlike some of the other wide receivers we have profiled, I don't expect Griff to be much of a contributor this year.  I would see his ceiling as a special teamer, but for the most part he most likely will be just a practice squader again.

How'd He Get Here: Walk on scholarship, played high school ball at Chaminade.

Twitter Feed: You can follow Griff on Twitter @Hulk_Rogan33

Tweetable: Even with a great twitter handle unfortunately his feed is private.

Uniform History: The first known varsity letter winner The first varsity letter winner to wear #38 is T.G O'Callaghan a guard who wore it in 1937. Captain Dave Bucci wore the rarely worn number in 1972. One of the greatest names in BC history, running back Survival Ross wore the number #38 from 2005-2008. Defensive back Ted Davenport wore the number in 2012.
