How'd He Get Here: Walsh was one of Addazio's first true recruits. Like Addazio, he came to BC very late in the process and was one of the last recruits in the Class of 2013. He had offers from a bevy of MAC schools including Akron, Central Michigan and Ohio. He was originally committed to the Bobcats, but decommitted on January 27th, the same day that he signed with the Eagles. He redshirted his first year with the Eagles, but saw significant playing time during the spring game. He is still very raw, and hesitant but runs the type of offense that Addazio and Ryan Day like. He appears to be more comfortable moving the ball with his legs than with his arm. Look for Walsh to be the backup to Murphy, especially if Addazio can save Wade's redshirt.
What'd Recruiting Sites Say: 3* on Rivals, 247 and ESPN. Rated the 32nd overall Dual Threat QB by Rivals.

Tweetable: Yes, and he is very active in retweeting anything to do with Boston College. Definitely worth a follow.
Uniform History: Interestingly the #15 was used primarily for offensive linemen during the early part of the 20th century. Defensive end Rick Nickeson was a starting defensive linemen for the Eagles for three years during the Doug Flutie era. Kenney Gaskins, a wide receiver wore in from 97-2000, he didn't do much for BC but interestingly enough I found him on Twitter. Who could forget Quenton Porter, who also wore #15 before Matt Ryan took over the QB1 role. Quarterback Dave Shinskie wore the number for three years after he came to the Eagles after a brief minor leauge baseball career.
Highlights: Because Walsh hasn't played for BC yet, let's take a look at his high school highlights:
