Boston College Football Recruiting: TE Jake Burt Commits To Eagles

New, 9 comments

St. John's Prep tight end is the 7th recruit of the Class of 2015

While new basketball Coach Jim Christian was buying dinner for students in lower, Steve Addazio was busy landing another local recruit. This time it was St. John's Prep junior, tight end Jake Burt:

Burt, a lumbering 6'5, 230 pounder, is not yet rated by any of the recruiting services has one other ACC offer (Virginia), Old Dominion, and a whole bunch of Ivy League and FCS offers (Brown, Harvard, Dartmouth and Holy Cross). He's the fourth recruit out of Massachusetts, as Steve Addazio continues to build his fence around New England. Burt will be the first St. John's Prep player to play at BC since former quarterback Brian St. Pierre (who is now the head coach) in the late 1990's. BC struck out with prep RB Johnathan Thomas, who decided on Penn State after de-committing from Maryland.

Jake's HUDL film can be seen here. Welcome to the Heights Jake!
