Boston College Football Recruiting: ATH Ben Glines Commits To Eagles

Another dude, this one comes from Luke Kuechly's high school...

Boston College landed a 2015 recruit this weekend when St. Xavier Athlete Ben Glines committed to Steve Addazio and the Eagles. The crew over at Eagle Action broke the story:

Glines was offered back in November, his primary recruiter is Al Washington, and was holding offers from Western Michigan, Akron, and Toledo. He had recently named BC as his leader, so this news shouldn't be much of a surprise. He currently is not rated, but like most of BC's recruits at this point, that will change. Ben plays both sides of the ball, on offense primarily as a running back where he racked up 715 yards and seven touchdowns, and 245 receiving yards and two touchdowns. It wouldn't surprise me as well if BC recruited him to play defense either as a linebacker or safety, but we won't know that until he is on campus or talks to the media.

Another interesting side note that is that Glines is coming to BC from St. Xavier, Ohio, the home of one Luke Kuechly.  Boston College has been doing very well at that school creating a pipeline, with both Steven Daniels and Sean Duggan also being Bomber alums. St. X has had good success in churning out ACC caliber recruits, so it's good to continue to build a solid reputation with the new coaching staff.
