In the 72 hours since Boston College lost to Penn State, fans weighed in with a variety of feelings. There's the obvious disappointment at losing a very winnable game, the disappointment of coming home empty handed after the 31-30 loss in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl. There's also the encouragement of the brighter day, the excitement of getting back to football in the spring.

Then there's the uncertainty of the future, the concern of what comes next, the fear of the unknown. There's talk of the coaches, the recruits, the players, the institution. Everything's come under a microscope following the loss to Penn State.
