Students and fans can catch a glimpse of the George M. Steinbrenner III Championship Trophy—half of Eagle nation just cringed—as the New Era Pinstripe Bowl trophy hits the Heights this weekend.
Via bceagles.com:
To get Boston College students excited—and maybe even provide a bit of a distraction as finals start—representatives from the new Era Pinstripe Bowl will be on campus and in the local area this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, December 13 and 14.
Students who stop by the New Era Pinstripe Bowl set-up at the locations below will not only get a chance to see the George M. Steinbrenner III Championship Trophy that's up for grabs at Yankee Stadium, but they'll also have a chance to walk away with some bowl giveaways like t-shirts, headwear, commemorative coins or other items...and potentially even a pair of tickets to the game.
Make sure you find time to see the trophy this weekend. Because who knows what else you'll come away with from the visit!
On Saturday, the trophy will make the rounds at the Boston College Bookstore (3-4 p.m.), Carney's (4:30-5:30 p.m.) and at the Boston College-Michigan hockey game at Conte Forum (6-7 p.m.). Then on Sunday, you can find the trophy at Lower Campus Dining (10-11:15 a.m.) and at Cityside Bar & Grille (12-1 p.m.).
Catch a glimpse of the bowl trophy before it takes its permanent home in the Conte Forum trophy display starting next semester because...free stuff!
