In a shocking sign of disrespect for both Boston College and our intelligence, the preseason coaches poll dropped today with nary a vote for your Boston College Eagles. This is an outrage, because..... because....
Seriously though, the first Top 25 is finally here, which is almost like actual football news except it isn't. To nobody's surprise, Alabama is #1 again, with 58 of 62 first place votes; Ohio State and Texas A&M also garnered first place votes.
Three BC opponents are ranked in the top 25 - Clemson at #8, Florida State at #12, and Week 3 foe USC at #24. North Carolina and Virginia Tech were also receiving votes in the poll. Miami was also receiving votes as well. #goacc

Thoughts on the poll? With 5 reasonably solid teams on the schedule, do you feel BC has a path to six wins this year? Will anyone ever beat Alabama again?
