The SB Nation college football blogs huddled up to determine our 2013 conference picks for every major conference. Yes, even The American. Boston College was selected sixth in the ACC's Atlantic Division, ahead of only the Wake Forest Demon Deacons. #TheRivalry

The Eagles average rating was a 5.5, which was well behind N.C. State (3.67), Maryland (4.8) and Syracuse (4.87) in the division. Clemson was given the nod in the Atlantic, slightly ahead of Florida State (1.41 to 1.55).

In the Coastal Division, the Miami Hurricanes are the pick to win their first division title since division play began in 2005. The Canes edged Virginia Tech (1.81 to 1.91), with North Carolina, Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh, Virginia and Duke rounding out the Coastal.

The picks for the other conferences:

American: Louisville - because someone has to win
Big 12: Oklahoma
Big Ten: Ohio State / Michigan - looking forward to two Ohio State-Michigan games in consecutive weeks
Conference USA: East Carolina / Tulsa - two more programs destined to pass UConn football in the American
MAC: Ohio / Northern Illinois
Mountain West: Boise State / San Diego State - really would've classed up the Big East
Pac-12: Oregon / U.C.L.A.
SEC: Alabama / Georgia - Mark Richt has lost control of the SEC East
Sun Belt: Louisiana-Lafayette
WAC: :(

Boston College is certainly no strangers to low preseason expectations. But behind New York's College Team (TM)? Srsly? What say you?
