Congratulations to incoming freshman pitcher Justin Dunn. The 6-foot-1, 170 pound right-hander was selected 18th in the 37th round (1,114th overall) by the Los Angeles Dodgers during Saturday's 2013 MLB First-Year Players Draft. Dunn joins left-handed pitcher Travis Seabrooke as the only Eagles taken in this year's draft.

The Freeport, New York native attended the Gunnery School in Connecticut, where he was a captain and earned 2013 Northeast All-Region honors. Prior to the start of the season, he was named to the Rawlings/Perfect Game Preseason Northeast Region All High School Senior First Team. On May 4, Dunn pitched a complete game, two-hitter with eight strikeouts and two walks in an 8-1 win. One week later, he struck out 15 and allowed just four hits in a 1-0 loss.

Seabrooke and Dunn become the 53rd and 54th Eagles selected in the MLB Draft all-time. Over the last five years, the Eagles have had 19 players selected in the MLB First-Year Players Draft.
