Thirteen Boston College sports teams were recognized for being in the top 10 percent of all squads in their sport in today's NCAA Academic Performance Public Recognition release.

Boston College junior punt return specialist Spiffy Evans has earned Phil Steele All-America third-team honors. Evans earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference preseason first-team accolades at the position, it was announced last week.

Penn State one of five offers for Bishop McDevitt 2015 running back Andre Robinson (PennLive.com)
The 5-10, 200-pound Robinson is ranked as one of the Top 247 players in the 2015 recruiting class by 247sports and received an early four-star rating from the recruiting outlet. Penn State, Pitt, Boston College, Maryland and Syracuse have all extended offers to the dynamic Robinson.

ACC Network still in early stages but there are a few hurdles to clear (CBSSports.com)
It seems unlikely Raycom would sell back to ESPN on the cheap, and the ACC knows this. That's why the ACC plans to make the deal “enticing” for Raycom and will probably have to come out of pocket to secure a successful sell, according to a source with direct knowledge of the ACC's plan. There's also a chance Raycom/Fox could keep some of the content. This will be part of the negotiation.
