Boston College senior linebacker Steele Divitto has been named to the 2013 Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List, honoring the top collegiate defensive player in the country who has made an impact on and off the field. The rising senior has 184 tackles in 35 games over his three year career with BC, including 92 as a junior last fall.

Divitto is one of seven ACC representatives on this year's Lott IMPACT Trophy Watch List. Joining Divitto is Duke CB Ross Cockrell, Pittsburgh DT Aaron Donald, Virginia Tech CB Antone Exum, Florida State CB/S Lamarcus Joyner, Clemson LB Spencer Shuey and Virginia Tech LB Jack Tyler.

Boston College claims the only Lott IMPACT Trophy winner from the ACC in the trophy's nine-year history -- linebacker Luke Kuechly in 2011.

Voting for the award is held throughout the season by a National Voter Panel of former college coaches and players, select members of the media, past winners of the award and the Board of Directors of the Pacific Club IMPACT Foundation, the sponsors of the award.
