Congratulations to the Boston College women's lacrosse team. The Eagles have earned the no. 3 seed for this week's ACC Women's Lacrosse Championship, to be held Thursday, April 25, through Sunday, April 28 at Fetzer Field in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
The Eagles are the tournament's no. 3 seed for the first time in program history, setting a program record for ACC wins this season with three. The women's team is currently ranked No. 18/15 in the country.
The third-seeded Eagles (3-2) will face the sixth-seed Hokies (0-5) in the opening round of the tournament. The Eagles defeated Virginia Tech, 15-7, on March 9. Should the Eagles advance, they would go on to face no. 2 seed North Carolina (4-1). The Heels are currently ranked No. 2/3 in the country.
