The post season hasn't hit yet, but the accolades for Boston College has just begun. First year head coach Steve Addazio was named a semi-finalist today for Collegiate Coach of the Year by the Maxwell Football Club. Addazio who has turned around a listless program into a bowl eligible team in less than a year joins the likes of Nick Saban, Guz Malzahn and Jimbo Fisher for the Award.
Headed by Ron Jaworski, the Maxwell Football Club will announce the winner on December 2nd.

Addazio is obviously up against some stiff competition, but you never know if the Eagles win out and finish the season 8-4 after a 2-10 2012 campaign. Even if he doesn't win, this is a great honor for Addazio, and let's hope he can pull off some more magic and bring home some hardware.
