The ACC finished off a successful fall sports season as the leading conference in the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup Final Fall Standings. The conference finished with the highest average rank of its schools among the leagues and is one of only two conferences to place all member schools in the top 111.
Florida State leads all ACC schools in third place with 358.5 points while North Carolina finished finished fifth with 342 points.
Boston College finished the fall season in 40th place with 130 points on the strength of finishes in women's cross country (55 points), women's soccer (50) and men's soccer (25). It's the lowest finish for the Eagles, who traditional perform well in the fall sports season, since the 2003 fall season where BC finished tied for 89th. Really miss those 25 points for a bowl appearance.
