Boston College Football Recruiting: Myles Willis "Firmly Committed" To Boston College

Penn State was making a push to lure Eagles' three-star athlete Myles Willis away from the Heights ($), but the Marist School (Georgia) is now "firmly committed" to Boston College. Willis, who Penn State was recruiting as a cornerback, was planning on making an official visit to Happy Valley after receiving a Penn State offer. But after talking to his parents and an in-home visit from new BC coach Steve Addazio, he's no longer looking at other schools. Willis is a "BC commit."

Myles Willis is ......solid with BC. Has done his research on Addazio and is satisfied. Will not be visiting Penn State.

Willis will play running back for the Eagles. That's a huge win on the recruiting trail as RB is a fairly significant position of need for BC. Both starting backs Rolandan Finch and Andre Williams are going into their senior years in 2013, the Eagles just lost commit LeShun Daniels to Iowa and changes are good that Addazio is going to run the ball. Just a little bit.

Great job from Addazio by hanging on to Willis.
