College Hockey News cites a U.S. Hockey Report that claims that Vatrano failed to get through the NCAA Clearinghouse. If the report is true, Vatrano would have been ineligible to play this season. Since the forward decided to go back to playing for the Junior Bruins in the EJHL, he retains his college eligibility and can play again once he gains eligibility. Whether Vatrano will return to Boston College or play for another NCAA program remains to be seen.
