Marquis Little, a quarterback and outside linebacker for Manchester High School in Connecticut, has committed to Boston College according to an announcement from MHS coach Marco Pizzoferrato on Sunday night. Little projects as an outside linebacker in college.
In a unique twist, Little is from the same high school as Maryland commit (and Boston College decommit) TE Andrew Isaacs. Little and Isaacs led the Indians to a 38-7 victory over South Windsor on Friday night to improve to 2-0 on the year.
"The really cool thing is Andrew Isaacs is going to University of Maryland on a full scholarship and we will all have the privilege to watch them compete against each other on the field," Pizzoferrato said. "Andrew will be playing tight end which will put them against each other in passing situations. If you see him and want to offer congrats to I'm sure he would appreciate it. His family and he are very excited for the opportunity and have worked very hard to accomplish this since his freshmen year."
Little is the 18th overall commitment in the Class of 2013 and the fourth from the state of Connecticut. He's the third linebacker recruited in next year's class, joining Minnesota's Jack Cottrell and Connecticut's Cory Jasudowich.
Welcome to the Heights, Marquis!
