A pair of polls released this week show that there is plenty of excitement to go around at Kelley Rink in the 2012-2013 season.

The men's hockey team may have the media coverage after their national title run, but the Boston College women's hockey team, fresh off their second straight Frozen Four appearance, are looking to collect some hardware of their own.

Earlier this week, the Eagles were voted #4 in the USCHO women's hockey poll -- their highest preseason ranking in team history -- and voted tops in Hockey East. The Eagles open their season against Boston University at home on October 5th. And yes, the lady terriers are just as loathsome as their male counterparts.
