The next Eagles football depth chart is out as of Monday, September 10, but I'm sure Spaz and the staff will change it up a few more times between now and game day. Let's get to it.
No change at QB this week. No surprise here.
Spaz continues to yo-yo in and out starting RBs. This week, it's Finch at RB1 and Kimble at RB2. Andre Williams is off this week's depth chart despite rushing for 61 yards on 11 carries in the win vs. Maine. Williams was also the only back to not put the ball on the turf last week. To be clear: I don't have a horse in this race, but I do think the backs would benefit from a little consistency in the starting lineup. Instead, it seems as though the RBs are forced to look over their shoulder in fear of getting benched after every costly fumble.
No change to the starting receivers this week. Colin Larmond Jr. is still off the two-deep. It will be interesting to see if he is listed on the injury report that will be released tomorrow.
A couple changes at the TE spot. Freshman Brian Miller is off this week, replaced by sophomore C.J. Parsons. A pair of converted redshirt freshmen offensive linemen -- Dave Bowen and Liam Porter -- slot in behind Parsons.
One minor change on the line this week, where junior Bryan Davis replaces redshirt freshman Eddie Meredith at backup right guard.
No change at end this week. Surprised?
Appiah is again listed as the backup left tackle, replacing sophomore Max Ricci. Like last week's revised depth chart for the Maine game, junior Jaryd Rudolph again gets the start at RT over senior Dillon Quinn.
Tim Joy is back on the two-deep at the backup SLB spot behind Divitto. Joy replaces senior Andre Lawrence. Duggan slots in at backup MIKE this week and Daniels takes Duggan's spot at WLB2. Nick Lifka is off this week's two-deep.
Freshman Bryce replaces sophomore C.J. as the Jones backing up Asprilla at FC. Jones is moved over to starting back corner along with Ameer Richardson.
The only changes at the safety positions are additions, where both SS Spenser Rositano and FS Josh Keyes are both listed on this week's two-deep.
Rositano also replaces Kimble as PR2.
