Wasn't a great weekend for the other men's football team ...

No. 4 Maryland Beats No. 24 Men's Soccer, 4-0 (
No. 4 Maryland scored three second half goals to defeat the No. 24 Boston College men's soccer team, 4-0, Friday night in front of 1,268 fans at the Newton Campus Field in the ACC opener for both sides. Christiano Francois scored a goal and assisted on another off the bench for the Terrapins. Schillo Tshuma, Jake Pace and Widner Saint Cyr scored the other goals. Sunny Jane and Patrick Mullins were credited with assists.

It's A Draw For No. 6 Women's Soccer Against No. 8 UCF (
In an exciting game between two nationally ranked teams, the No. 6 Boston College women's soccer team tied No. 8 UCF, 2-2, in a non-conference battle on Sunday afternoon in front of 337 fans at the Newton Soccer Field. Boston College is now 5-0-2, with the two ties coming against then No. 4 ranked Stanford and now No. 8 UCF. UCF is now 5-1-1.

No. 17 Field Hockey Shuts Out Harvard (
The 17th-ranked Boston College field hockey team earned a 3-0 victory over Harvard on Sunday afternoon at Jordan Field. Sophomore Emma Plasteras tallied her second score of the season, junior Chapin Duke her first and freshman AshLeigh Sebia tallied first collegiate goal to seal the win.

No. 17 Field Hockey Falls to No. 12 BU (
The 17th-ranked Boston College field hockey team fell, 2-1, to 12th-ranked, cross-town rival Boston University on Friday night at Newton Campus Field Hockey Complex. All three goals were scored in the first half in a span of eight minutes.
