Feel free to comment / poke holes in the above. This is just a preseason poll and likely won't hold up based on the slightest bit of scrutiny. You can see how this ballot compares to the Preseason AP and USA Today/Coaches Poll Top 25.
As a reminder, Jeff and I each vote separately and then the blog's ballot is an average of those two ballots.
We ended up not ranking the following teams ranked in the AP Top 25: Boise State and Louisville. The Broncos and Cardinals have been replaced by Washington (#18) and Georgia Tech (#22).
Alabama has a much tougher road to the BCS National Championship game than, say, USC or Florida State, but we give the nod to the defending champs.
I miss getting to vote for Boston College and tempting the Coulter/Kos Award fate for the Eagles. Leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
