Boston College began its tour of Spain in Madrid when it landed in the capital city at 6:30 a.m. Sunday. The Eagles had an early afternoon practice at a nearby facility and then went on a walking tour of the city, with stops at Plaza Mayor and Mercado de San Miguel. The day concluded with a dinner on the Plaza de Santa Ana right outside the hotel's front door.

Lauren Engeln Joins The Women's Basketball Team (
Boston College women's basketball head coach Erik Johnson announced this afternoon that junior Lauren Engeln will join the Eagles after transferring from the University of Connecticut. The 5-foot-10 forward will sit out the 2012-13 season.

McKenzie Meehan Two Goals Leads Women's Soccer To Victory (
Freshman McKenzie Meehan scored two goals including the game-winner in Boston College's wild 4-3 victory over Connecticut on Friday night at Morrone Stadium. The Eagles improved to 2-0-0, while UConn is 1-1-0.
