There has been a strong outpouring of support and thanks for Boston College Athletic Director Gene DeFilippo, who will step down on September 30 after 15 years of serving as the school's A.D. Other than the quotes from President William P. Leahy, S.J., Frank Spaziani, Steve Donahue, Jerry York and ACC Commissioner John Swofford from the school's official release, several B.C. staffers, alum and former players took to Twitter to thank GDF for his time at the Heights.
