Boston College Football Lands 2013 Recruit QB Tim Boyle

Boston College continues to land recruits, this time picking up Middletown, Connecticut quarterback Tim Boyle. The 2013 Xavier recruit is a 6'3 205 pound three star recruit, and made his decision today according to 247sports.com. Boyle chose BC over a litany of other FBS schools including Florida, Pittsburgh, Syracuse and UConn. It's nice to see the Eagles scoring recruits over schools in major conferences.

Boyle chose BC for a variety of reasons:

"The academics are great," Boyle said. "My whole family lives in Boston. The campus is amazing. The coaches are great. The offense fits me real well. Overall it was the best for me."

Boyle is the fifth recruit to verbal this season, joining MacKay Lowrie as the second quarterback in this class. It was reported earlier that BC was going to be shooting for two quarterbacks in this class, so Boyle has got to be seen as a major score for the school.

You can see some game film for Boyle below. Just looking at the game film, he looks like he is coming from a program that mirrors BC's, pocket heavy, with a pro style emphasis for the quarterback. Hopefully he will stick around and not be scooped up by another program before signing day.

Welcome to the Heights Tim!
