We are now less than twenty four hours until game time. To add to the drama of tomorrow's game between the Boston College Eagles and Minnesota Gophers, Jerry York broke some major news during his afternoon press conference in Tampa.
York says that #BC and #Minnesota have tentatively agreed on a four-year game schedule. #FrozenFour

The Eagles will play two at home and two at the Mariucci Center. No word has been released on what the yearly schedule will look like. But there is more to the story than what Jerry York mentioned. According to the Star Tribune, Boston College has also signed on to play in the 2012 Mariucci Classic.
This past season, the Mariucci Classic included host Minnesota, Princeton, Niagara and fellow Hockey East team Northeastern. On December 31st the host team ended up losing in the finals against Northeastern who at the time were riding a seven game winning streak.
It's great to see the Eagles scheduling quality opponents going into the future. Games against opponents like Minnesota will certainly help bolster BC's strength of schedule. With Notre Dame and a 12th program likely to join Hockey East in the near future, the Eagles will likely find themselves with a few extra non-conference dates to fill.
First thing first. BC has a date with the Gophers tomorrow night and it's time for the Eagles to take care of business.
