NBC Sports Network will telecast game one of the best-of-three game Hockey East quarterfinal series between Boston College and Massachusetts in Chestnut Hill, Mass. on Friday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m., according to a league announcement made on Sunday evening.
Friday's game will also be carried live on FM 98.5 The Sports Hub.
Boston College (25-10-1, 19-7-1 Hockey East) earned the top seed for the 28th annual Hockey East Tournament championship after it captured the regular-season title with a 4-0 win over Vermont on Saturday, March 3.
Following Friday's opening game of the quarterfinal round, the Eagles and Minutemen will faceoff on Saturday, March 10 at 7 p.m. in game two and Sunday, March 11 at 7 p.m. in game three (if necessary).
Also, if you'd like to watch New Hampshire take down Boston University, Saturday afternoon's game 2 will be broadcast on NESN at 4 PM.
All other Hockey East quarterfinal games will by streamed live by Pack Network on www.hockeyeastonline.tv for $8.95 per game. So you can watch 10 of a possible 12 games by purchasing the tournament pass for $39.95 and watch all four games simultaneously in the same web browser.
