Updated ACC Tournament Scenarios Post Virginia-Maryland

Virginia survived Maryland, winning 75-72 in overtime to earn the number 4 seed and the final first-round bye of the 2012 ACC Tournament. The Cavs join top-ranked North Carolina, no. 2 Duke and no. 3 Florida State as the four teams receiving first-round byes in the Tournament.

Just one regular season game remains -- N.C. State (8-7) at Virginia Tech (4-11). Tip is at 6 PM.

Here are the scenarios remaining for BC's first-round opponent. It's very simple now.

The 12th seeded Eagles will face N.C. State (8-7) should the Wolfpack defeat the Hokies, or Miami (9-7) with a Wolfpack loss.
