Boston College hockey is on top of the world right now. After winning the Hockey East tournament this weekend, and pulling the #1 seed in the Men's Tournament, BC continues to pull in the accolades. No surprise, the Eagles were unanimously named the number one team in the country (again).

Here is the USCHO Top 20:

1. BC
2. Michigan
3. Union
4. North Dakota
5. Minnesota Duluth
6. Minnesota
7. Miami
8. That other school on Commonwealth Ave.
9. Ferris State
10. Denver
11. Maine
12. Western Michigan
13. UMass Lowell
14. Cornell
15. Michigan State
16. Air Force
17. Merrimack
18. Harvard
19. Notre Dame
20. Northern Michigan.

Boston University fell the farthest this week, from five to eight, which happens when you lose to Maine in the Semi Finals. The highest jump was Union who leaped from six to three. Of course at this point none of this really matters, all of these teams have their sights on something else -- the National Title. Surely that is all Jerry York is talking about with his team at this point. And like always BC is playing the best hockey in the nation, and are in the best position to bring home another title. Go Eagles!
