Rankings: Rivals 3* (position 90, state 4), Scout 3* (position 140), ESPN 3* (rated a 76, position 107, regional 157), 247 Sports 3* (rated an 87). Transferred from Iowa after his freshman season to be closer to home, where he caught 1 ball for 12 yards. Originally selected Iowa over BC, Connecticut and Syracuse. Recruited by Sean Devine.

Stats: Grant caught 26 balls for 557 yards and eight TDs in his senior season at Lawrence Academy.

Strengths: Via ESPN: "Grant is a very good athlete that is clearly the best player on this team and likely the best player on the field regardless of who the opponent is. He looks terrific, is versatile, has size and some functional strength."

Realistic Outlook: Via AJB: "Grant's announcement is also a huge addition to a wide receiving corp that hasn't been stocked well from recruiting the last two recruiting seasons. Next season BC will have Ifeanyi Momah, Bobby Swigert, Alex Amidon, Colin Larmond Jr., Spiffy Evans and possibly Clyde Lee. That is not much depth for a spread gameplan that includes many five receiver sets. Obviously Martin will be adapting the playbook to work with the strengths and personnel that BC has, but getting a solid receiver like Grant is a great get, especially if BC is serious about employing a pass heavy offense."

Welcome to the Heights, Marcus!
