Boston College Football Adds New Mexico State As Final Game For 2013 Season

New, comments

Boston College will face off against New Mexico State.

John Reed-US PRESSWIRE

According to Mark Blaudschun, Boston College has named its final opponent for the 2013 season.

Boston College will be facing the New Mexico State Aggies at Alumni Stadium. Brad Bates, who was handcuffed into finding a coach over the past month, must have had to settle with N.M. State. Rumors were floating about possibly playing UMass at Gillette, BYU, and other #MACtion options.

While New Mexico State isn't going to help ticket sales, it should give Steve Addazio a seemingly beatable opponent. The Aggies were a whopping 1-11 last year, with their sole win of the year against Sacramento State. They then proceeded to lose their final eleven games in a row, capped off with a season ending 66-26 trouncing at the hands of Texas State. They even got trounced by Auburn -- who was awful themselves -- 42-7.

With this game Boston College now knows almost all of their opponents for 2013. Dates will be announced soon:

Florida State Seminoles
N.C. State Wolfpack
Wake Forest Demon Deacons
