Meet Boston College Football's Wounded Warrior Project Honorary Captains

Boston College and Under Armour will honor three honorary captains as part of the Wounded Warrior Project during tomorrow's game against Maryland.

Boston College will have three honorary team captains from the Wounded Warrior Project for tomorrow's game against Maryland. Each honorary captain has ties to Boston and/or the Boston College community.

Here are tomorrow's three honorary captains.

Sean Judge

Entered the Army in May of 2003 and served with the 173rd Long Range Surveillance Detachment Airborne, as an Infantryman and designated Detachment Combat Medic after obtaining two MOS's prior to deploying to Iraq and serving 11 months in country. During a patrol in Iraq, Sean was injured. Sean is the recipient of a Combat Infantry Badge and was discharged from the Army in May of 2009. Sean is accompanied by his service dog Lou. Sean's mother, Paula, is a Boston College alumnus of 1966 with a double masters in theology and education.

Daniel Perry

Joined the Army in 2003 when he was 17 years old. Upon basic training graduation, Dan was assigned to the 1/506th of the 101st Airborne. He was deployed to Iraq in 2005. On February 22, 2006 Dan was injured by an RPG/IED attack. He was first treated at the Ballad Medical Facility and then flown to Landstuhl, Germany. Dan's recovery included two months at WRAMC and five months at the Palo Alto, CA VA Polytrauma Center, followed by another year of traumatic brain injury rehabilitation. Dan was medically retired from the Army in April of 2007 and is the recipient of a Combat Infantry Badge and the Purple Heart. Dan's sister-in-law recently graduated from the Boston College Master's Program. He currently lives in Belchertown, MA with his wife and two girls.

Will Ramos

Joined the United States Marine Corps in May of 1978 and was deployed to the Persian Gulf War from 1990 to 1991. Will attained the rank of Gunnery Sargent prior to his discharge in 1994. Will is currently serving as Master Sergeant Military Police Operations NCO in the MA National Guard and has been deployed to Iraq in 2004 and again in 2010. He is the recipient of the Bronze Star. Will currently is an outreach manager for the MA Dept. of Correction (DOC) assisting BC students explore different career opportunities by facilitating DOC Job Shadow Events. He also provides a college level internship program to BC students of all majors in the vast fields of careers within the MA DOC. Will currently lives in Taunton, MA with his wife and child.
