Former Boston College Eagle Billy Flutie Saves Life With Heimlich (CBS Boston)
On Wednesday, Flutie applied a life-saving Heimlich Maneuver to assist a man who was choking on food at a local Applebee’s restaurant. While having lunch near the Boston College campus, Flutie noticed another patron was choking and rushed to his aid, dislodging a piece of chicken that was stuck in the man’s throat.

Montelus lands offer from Boston College (ESPN Football Recruiting - East Region Blog)
The latest offer 2013 offensive lineman John Montelus (Everett, Mass.) received was the one his mom was waiting for. Boston College pulled the trigger on an offer in late November. Montelus, a 6-foot-5, 295-pound junior, previously had received offers from Connecticut, N.C. State, Syracuse and Virginia.
