Super stage for Boston College alums (BostonHerald.com)
"I’m excited for all of them," said Ty Hall, 27, of Somerville, a former offensive guard for BC who roomed with Patriots defensive end Ron Brace for a year in college. "It’s kind of surreal sometimes when you’re watching on TV and you’re like, those guys are the same ones that were in the locker room five years ago."
2011 ACC grades: Atlantic Division (ESPN ACC Blog)
Granted, there were injuries, there was the loss of leading rusher Montel Harris, and there was the unexpected leave of absence of former offensive coordinator Kevin Rogers for health reasons. There were plenty of excuses BC fans didn’t want to hear as the Eagles wrapped up their worst season since 1995. The defense was respectable and the offense continued to struggle, but BC never quit and won three of its last five games.
Report: BC to hire John Thomas for S&C (Eagle in Atlanta)
Thomas is of the High Intensity Training school of thought. This is about having guys lean and able to do multiple repetitions. It is probably closer to what Jason Loscalzo taught as opposed to the more stretching and mobility school of thought used under Todd Rice and TOB. Boston College at U.Va.: When less is more (Richmond Times-Dispatch)
Boston College is next for the 'Hoos. Eagles coach Steve Donahue said Monday that "you've got to think about bringing other guys over" to contain Scott. How long he sticks with that approach will depend, in part, on whether Evans can make defenses pay for ignoring him.
Little Chute star fielding offers (Fox11online.com)
"A lot of Horizon League schools, Boston College, Missouri Valley (conference teams), a lot of mid-majors, starting to get some more high-major looks," said Botz. Botz said Boston College first contacted him about three weeks ago, though there has not been a scholarship offer yet.
