BC’s Harris will step in (Boston.com)
"It didn’t feel right,’’ said Boston College’s senior running back earlier this week when asked about his availability for this afternoon’s game at Alumni Stadium against the University of Massachusetts. "My coaches and trainers were telling me, ‘Don’t rush it. You’ll know when it’s ready.’ This time I know that it’s ready. I’m ready to come out and play in the game.’’

"We are obviously elated to get our first victory," said Spaziani. "It's taken four weeks but we finally got it. It's a tribute to the kids and the coaches who did a good job getting them ready. The players did a good job compartmentalizing, doing what they needed to do to win. We certainly had some nice opportunities and made some plays. Hopefully we can build on it and move forward."
Bowls: Four ACC teams outside looking in (ESPN ACC Blog)
The Eagles just picked up their first win of the season against FCS opponent Massachusetts on Saturday. What was supposed to be the easiest stretch of their schedule is now behind them as they head into back-to-back games against Atlantic Division opponents Wake Forest and Clemson. 4. Boston College. I’ll go ahead and admit right now that I don’t get the BC love fest. Brian Dumoulin is awesome and I love Chris Kreider, but other than those two BC doesn’t have any stars. One of the biggest questions will be whether Parker Millner is who he was as a Freshman (.909 save percentage) or Sophomore (.899), though for BC to win the league he’ll likely have to be better than both.

12. Boston College (1-3, 0-1; LW: No. 12): The Eagles rallied together for their first win of the season and in the process made the statement that they haven’t given up. The next step is to get their first conference win, and they’ll have home-field advantage on Saturday against Wake Forest.
Jared Dudley breaks down the Impact training series (Ball Don't Lie)
As professionals we are paid to play this game. We're collectively dedicated to train as hard as we can during the offseason to improve our teams for the upcoming season. As labor talks come and go and rumors swirl about players going overseas, the games at Impact, headed by Joe Abunassar, show players are working hard and will be ready to play when the NBA lockout ends.
