Congrats to former Eagles midfielder Alejandro Bedoya, who signed a deal to join the Scottish Premier League's Glasgow Rangers:

"Former Boston College men's soccer standout and current U.S. national team midfielder Alejandro Bedoya has agreed to a new contract with Rangers, three-time defending champion of the Scottish Premier League.

Pending an approval of his U.K. work permit, Bedoya will head to Glasgow in January to join Rangers. He will finish the Swedish season with his current team, Orebro."

Bedoya was recently called up by the US Men's National Team for the CONCACAF Gold Cup. He now has 13 career caps for the U.S. Bedoya will begin playing for Rangers in January after the Swedish Allsvenskan's season has ended in October.

SB Nation's Kevin McCauley believes that Bedoya and Rangers are a great fit.

"Rangers are in serious need of a right midfielder, the position that Bedoya is most likely to be slotted into when he arrives in Glasgow. They're strong in the center of midfield with internationals like Steven Davis and American Maurice Edu, but they're seriously lacking in quality out wide. This means that Bedoya will have a very good chance at starting from the get go at Ibrox."

Congrats to Bedoya. You can follow Bedoya on Twitter @AleBedoya17.
