Boston College Football Adds CB Donovan Henry To Class Of 2012

Boston College received its tenth verbal commitment for the Class of 2012 in West Roxbury (Mass.) Catholic Memorial CB Donovan Henry. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Henry visited Chestnut Hill last week and picked the Eagles over UMass and Northeastern (track scholarship).

The local product went undefeated in the 200-meter dash in the spring before pulling a hamstring. Sounds like he's a burner.

Henry's coach Alex Campea had nice things to say about both BC and Henry:

"The fact of the matter is Boston College is a terrific institution," Campea said. "Obviously he's looking for the opportunity to play football at a high level and get a great education, and certainly Boston College fits both criteria. I'm pleased for him. He's a terrific player, terrific person and hey, I'm excited for him."

A two star recruit according to Rivals, Henry joins Tim Joy as the only other Massachusetts product in the Class of 2012 so far. In addition, Spaz has recruited three players from New Jersey, two from Virginia, and one each from Ohio, Pennsylvania and Quebec.

Welcome to the Heights, Donovan.
