ACC's must-win nonconference games (ESPN ACC Blog)
How does Duke-Stanford get honorable mention on this list over BC-Notre Dame? That's just crazy talk.

"Stanford at Duke, Sept. 10: With the exception of Oklahoma, this will likely be the best team the ACC will face in the regular season. Problem is, Duke isn’t ready to beat a top-10 team yet. If the Blue Devils manage the upset, it would dramatically legitimize the depth in the conference and make a huge statement that Duke is ready to contend under David Cutcliffe. If."

Q&A with Boston College LB Luke Kuechly (College Gridiron 365 Blog)
“I think one of the things about football that is overlooked is just your knowledge of the game. The more you know, the better you can be. I think football is an evolving game and it’s been evolving over the past couple of years, and I think the quicker you can adapt to the new way the game is played, I think the better off you can be.”

Meineke Car Care Bowl (The Wiz Of Odds)
How 'bout that sterling Clemson travel rep? "Although it was a short 114-mile trip to Charlotte, Clemson sold only 7,118 tickets. Athletic director Terry Don Phillips nearly apologized to the bowl for Tiger fans' tepid interest in the game." "The [bowl] staff did everything possible to assist us in the sale of tickets," he wrote. "We wish we could have sold more."

Getting To Know NC State (Down The Drive)
It has been a long while since NC State has legitimately competed for an ACC crown. Since going to divisions the Wolfpack have never made it the ACC title game even once. 4 of the 6 Atlantic Division teams have made the game, including rivals Clemson and Wake Forest. The last NC State Football championship came in 1979. Since then every ACC school save the newly minted Boston College Eagles and the Hurricanes of Miami have won at least a title. Yes, even Duke has won a Football crown in the interim.
